CHEWA DISOWNS TAY GRIN’ AMBASSADORSHIP

The Chewa Heritage Foundation (CHEFO) has reportedly disowned the tribe ambassadorship deal with the renowned and award winning hip-hop artist Tay Grin.

The self proclaimed Nyau King, last week, was crowned as an Ambassador for Chewa tribe by a committee which is organising a fundraising event aimed at sourcing resources for their planned Chewa Kulamba annual ceremony.

In a dramatic twist of event, a national executive committee from the same Chewa tribe yesterday communicated that they do not recognise Tay Grin as their ambassador.

Originally from Dowa, home of Chewa culture, Tay Grin is well known in representing Chewa tribe in so many ways. In every song he produces, Tay Grin always use Nyau dance and tone, a true representation of his origin culture.
