ICE KAY BIOGRAPHY
ICE KAY Originally and born as Issah Rajabu, he was raised in the small Malawian township known as Lumbadzi. Later in his ages, Issah Rajabu relocated to South Africa where he first found a successful career space as a fashion designer. He worked as self employed in a small south African town called Balfour. Precisely, he started writing and composing music in the year 2007. Musically, as now well known with his stage name as Ice Kay, he started practising his serious dancehall music business at the age of 30. He produced a song titled “call me” in 2020; a hit single which largely attracted more than 20 000 downloads in only 1 week. Currently, Ice Kay is working on an Extended Playlist (EP). Factually, the EP will feature at least two of the best artists the world has yet seen, namely “Mister” and “Ogee komodo”. Additionally, “Ice kay” has done a joint venture in the next project he is about to release. Blended in multi-task circle of Reggae, dancehall, and Afro beat styles, Ice kay is a Malawian but South African based artist, who is the now the fastest and most successful musician emerging on the music spot light. Ice Kay writes emotionally resonant lyrical sounds laning much on relationships and family matters, and his songs effortlessly demonstrate how much powerful and common is the music message on the ground in regards to contemporary afro-beat and dancehall matters are viewed.
