MALAWI’ CARDI-B “OXIDIZING AGENT” RELEASES “GETTOH GAT-HER” HIT.
Born Joana Nyirongo in Mangochi, and now based in Machinjiri Blantyre, Oxidizing agent is one the Malawi’ fastest growing hip hop upcoming artists, who are threatening to conquer the hip hop music industry.
Basically, Oxidizing agent, whose lyrical tune competes with that of American rapper Cardi-B, started her music career in 2021 through freestyles compositions. Later, she recorded a very first well-cooked freestyle right together with her fellow female artist “Miss P.”
In her latest track “Gettoh Gat-Her” produced by Fourty, Oxidizing Agent talks largely of ghetto life. “The song is all about ghetto stuff. This is just to encourage those youths who are in the ghetto to never give up in life but rather keep working hard for a better tomorrow” said Agent.
Meanwhile, Oxidizing Agent sees her musical future on another positive level. She says one day, if all goes as planned, she will hit the international markets and collaborate with other well established artists from Malawi and abroad.
To date, Oxidizing Agent has two songs including behind my back, a bang which was produced in 2021.
