“THE GREATEST MUSICIAN IS LUCIUS BANDA NOT ONESIMUS” – SAYS DR. NAMADINGO

Zambia based Malawian artist, Dr Patience Namadingo, popularly known as the Doc, has branded musician Lucius Banda as the legend and the greatest of all times.

Expressing the core compliment yesterday on his facebook page, Namadingo lamented that Sir Soldier Lucius Banda has been in the music industry for decades and no one can beat his relevance in the Malawi music industry.

“Soldier Lucius Banda is the greatest musician ever to come out of Malawi. Soldier anavaya ndisanavaye” reads in parts of the Doc post.

Meanwhile, fans have reacted differently to the Doc post. While some are saying it is much normal to praise the legendaries just like what he has done to Lucius Banda, some have connected the dots and refer the compliment as a diss to his rival, Onesimus.

Of late, Onesimus who is also known as African Butter, has taken a jab at his musical counterpart Namadingo who left Malawi and seek permanent residence in Zambia after losing an online poll against Onesimus.

The two Malawi’s afro pop artists have been the objects of the biggest online battle ever, dubbed as fighting for superior powers and attesting the one who is more creative in the music circle.
