Biography
TruChip, real name Ishmael Ngomano is a Liwonde based versatile musician originally from Zomba, Songani. He started doing music in 2017 out of his curiosity in western music like Hip-hop and RnB. As a result of his curiosity, TruChip ended up doing his first song while in primary school at New Era. He draws his inspiration from Tory Lanez on the international scene and on the local scene, the Daredevils are the source of his inspiration. According to the artist, Tory Lanez and the Daredevils take many forms when it comes to music genres that is why he is inspired by them. TruChip came into the spotlight when he released a song called “Neba” of which features the celebrated Afro-dancehall artist 6TH and the “Chindekha” hitmaker by the name of Vube. So far, the versatile artist has managed to collaborate with an international artist known as “Quickfass Cass” from South Africa (SA) on a track called “Baddie.” He currently has over 100 songs and over 20 videos. TruChip aims at taking over the world with his music and representing Malawi on the international scene
