DJ MEGI ADVISES WELL ESTABLISHED ARTISTS TO REMOVE PRIDE AND CONSIDER PROMOTING UPCOMING STARS

South Africa based Malawian producer, Dj Megi, has finely advised all well established musicians to remove pride and start considering upcoming artists in Malawi.

Writting on his wall, Dj Megi said that there is a big problem with most Malawian artists who are always quoted with pride and do not love collaborating with upcoming artists, a thing which Megi described it as retrospective mindset.

According to Megi, this tendency is demotivating the growth of music industry in Malawi as many potential artists are being sidelined with platforms for exposure by not being given a chance in collaborating with established musicians.

He gave an example of Davido, who is one of the biggest artists in the world, who removed his pride and collaborated with a low key artist named Musa Keys. Together, they produced a hit “Unavailable” which is being played and enjoyed worldwide.

Likewise, the most trending artist in Africa, Yo Maps, again collaborated with unknown Daxon who, together, produced a hit titled Kondwa.

Dj Megi is a Malawian producer known for this hard work. To date, Megi has produced numerous hits including Kondwa by Yo Maps, Mr Nobody, WyDoMeSo, Solomon by Onesimus and many other celebrated songs.
