Richie Mafia is one of the greatest upcoming dancehall artists in Malawi, based in Mchinji District. He started serious musical journey in 2015 when he was a dedicated member of a youth club in Mchinji. As per rules, every member of the club was forced to be participating through singing as one way of keeping the club active. Later, Richie Mafia get all the nerves and started producing sole and serious music. He is inspired by Vybz Kartel. Richie Mafia is signed with Military Camp Music and he aims at taking Mchinji Dancehall to the world
